Developing a predictive model for perinatal morbidity among small for gestational age infants
This study’s objective is to identify factors that are independently associated with morbidity among neonates with low birth weight.

Trajectories of antenatal depression and adverse pregnancy outcomes
This study asks how the trajectory of depressive symptoms during pregnancy is associated with different risks of adverse pregnancy outcomes. The researchers concluded that women with depressive symptoms that worsen as pregnancy progresses have increased odds of preterm birth.

Weight gain in early, mid, and late pregnancy and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
In this observational study, researchers found that excessive weight gain as early as the early second trimester was associated with increased risks of development of HDP.

One step versus two step approach for gestational diabetes screening: systematic review and meta-analysis of the randomized trials
The one and the two step approaches were not associated with a significant difference in the incidence of GDM. However, the one step approach was associated with better maternal and perinatal outcomes.

Stress during pregnancy and gestational weight gain
The findings of this study whos that lower reported stress, as measured by the Life Experiences Survey, was associated with a greater chance of women achieving adequate gestational weight gain. This relationship highlights the potential for interventions directed toward psychosocial support to have salutary effects upon gestational weight gain.
